2008 Recruit-A-Member Campaign
Rules
1. All AWIS members in good standing may participate and are eligible to win.
2. For each member you recruit, you receive one ticket in the drawing. One member = one ticket. Five members = five tickets.
3. To qualify, new members must be recruited and join at the regular membership level or higher. New student memberships are appreciated but not eligible for the prize drawings.
4. In order to be eligible to win the drawing, the referring member must be an active AWIS member at the time the campaign ends (June 30, 2008). AWIS staff are not eligible to participate.
5. The campaign period runs from April 1 through June 30, 2008.
6. All new AWIS member applications and membership dues must be received no later than June 30, 2008 to be counted.
7. The drawing will be held on or before July 16, 2008 at the AWIS national office.
8. To receive credit for sponsoring a new member, the recruiter’s/sponsor’s name must appear on the “Recruited By (Sponsor’s Name)” line of the membership application and dues must be paid in full at the time the application is submitted.
9. The number of entries received determines the odds of winning.
10. A new member is defined as an eligible individual who has not been a member of AWIS for at least one year or more.
11.Members participating in the campaign agree that the decisions and rules outlined by AWIS are final.
12.
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for AWIS to use the winner’s name and likeness for advertising, promotional, and other purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
13.By entering, participants release and hold harmless AWIS directors, officers, employees and agents, from any injuries, loss, damage or liability of any kind arising from or in connection with this campaign or acceptance or use of any prize won.
14.If the winner cannot or will not accept the prize, then the prize will be forfeited and/or awarded to an alternate winner.
15. No purchase necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited.
