The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) offers Corporate Partnerships to any company that supports the mission and the objectives of AWIS. The Corporate Membership Program is comprised of leading employers of scientists, mathematicians, and engineers and was designed to provide a mechanism for sponsors of AWIS to partner more closely and effectively with AWIS and each other.
A primary purpose of the Corporate Partner Program is to assist the private sector in successfully integrating professional women into all levels of the work force by fostering a corporate culture that encourages the retention and promotion of women in science, technology, mathematics, and engineering. The program also provides a means for corporations to publicly display support for AWIS and the advancement of women in the technical workforce.

Levels of Support and Benefits
Corporate Partnerships are available at three levels of support- Platinum, Gold, and Silver. All partnership levels receive:
- A link on the AWIS website to the corporate home page
- A copy of AWIS Magazine for each individual member
- One magazine copy sent to the company library of choice
- Free access for individual members to all electronic publications accessible through AWIS including AWIS Magazine, Washington Wire, and Science’s Next Wave
- Invitation to all receptions and other promotional (public relations) events organized by the AWIS National Office
Platinum -- $10,000 annual contribution
- 10 individual AWIS memberships for corporate employees*
- 10 voting rights at the national level
- $1,000 credit for non-product, standard advertising in AWIS Magazine
- Company recognition in the form of an “advertorial” including corporate logo, prominently displayed in the AWIS Magazine issue of choice
- A full-sized profile of a female scientist from the corporation to be posted on the website (up to 1000 words)
- Opportunity to create marketing platform (in the form of the first right of refusal) at all AWIS Signature Events including Annual Fellows Reception, conferences, and workshops
Gold -- $5,000 annual contribution
- 5 individual AWIS memberships for corporate employees*
- 5 voting rights at the national level
- $500 credit for non-product, standard advertising in AWIS Magazine
- Company recognition in AWIS Magazine and the AWIS website in the form of a medium-sized logo linked to the corporation homepage
- ½ page profile of a female scientist from the company posted on the website (up to 500 words)
Silver -- $2,500 annual contribution
- 2 individual AWIS memberships for corporate employees*
- 2 voting rights at the national level
- $250 credit for non-product, standard advertising in AWIS Magazine
- Company recognition in AWIS Magazine and on the AWIS website in the form of a small logo linked to the corporation homepage
