The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) offers Institutional Membership to any institution that supports the mission and the objectives of AWIS. The Institutional Membership Program is comprised of leading academic employers of scientists, mathematicians, and engineers and is designed to provide a mechanism for sponsors of AWIS to partner more closely and effectively with AWIS and each other.
The purpose of the Institutional Membership Program is to facilitate the integration of women into all levels of the work force by fostering a network dedicated to the education of women in the science, mathematics, engineering, and technology fields.

Levels of Support and Benefits
Institutional Membership is available at three different levels of support: Platinum, Gold, and Silver. All levels will receive the following benefits:
- Membership in the national AWIS organization and also in a local AWIS chapter of choice (if desired) for individual members associated with the institutional membership
- A copy of AWIS Magazine for each individual member and one magazine copy sent to the institution library of choice
- Free access for individual members to electronic publications accessible through AWIS including AWIS Magazine, Washington Wire, as well as to Science's Next Wave
- Electronic announcement of AWIS Educational Foundation Award deadlines
- Electronic announcement of deadlines for AWIS Internship applications
Platinum Membership-- $500 annual contribution
- 4 individual memberships
- 4 voting rights within national AWIS and a local AWIS chapter*
- Recognition in AWIS Magazine
- A link on the AWIS website to the institutional "Jobs Available" web page
- A discount on two job advertisements or announcements placed in AWIS Magazine
Gold Membership-- $275 annual contribution
- 2 individual memberships
- 2 voting rights within national AWIS and a local AWIS chapter*
- Recognition in AWIS Magazine
- A link on the AWIS website to the institutional "Jobs Available" web page
- A discount on one job advertisement or announcement placed in AWIS Magazine
Silver Membership-- $150 annual contribution
- 1 individual membership
- 1 voting right within national AWIS and a local AWIS chapter*
* One voting right within each national AWIS and the local AWIS chapter will be assigned to each individual member associated with the institutional membership.
