Senior Project Manager – Product Portfolio Management (PPM)

Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Project Manager who will provide the project and process expertise to manage portfolio projects to successful conclusions and milestones. This position will be responsible for effectively communicating and influencing in a highly matrixed organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, project management of cross-functional teams to assess both the scientific and commercial potential of projects, and planning and execution of both short-term and long-term objectives. This position will partner with Project Team Leaders, core team members and functional Project Managers.

Requirements:
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences; an advanced degree is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of multi-disciplinary experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with 4-8 years of direct project management in drug development and commercialization. The candidate is expected to demonstrate effective influence management skills, strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and be results and detail-oriented. This individual must be adept at building relationships across disciplines, and enjoy driving operational success of projects through teamwork and collaboration.
