(1) Predoctoral awards for advanced students in the natural and social sciences. 

(2) Kirsten R. Lorentzen award for college sophomores or juniors studying physics or geoscience.

(3) Undergraduate awards for college students in their first, second, or third year of college.

Predoctoral Scholarship

Eligibility:

To apply you must meet the following criteria

  • Be enrolled in a Ph.D. program at the time of application in one of the following fields: Anthropolgy, Archaeology, Astonomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer and Infomation Science, Engineering, Geoscience, Mathematics (including Epidemiology and Statistics), Neuroscience, Physics
  • Expect to complete your PhD by August 2011
  • Be a US citizen, OR be enrolled at a US institution
  • Have passed your qualifying examination
  • Not have applied to this program previously
