The 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly recently adopted a groundbreaking Resolution to establish an annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science.  This Resolution demonstrates the commitment of Member States to achieving gender equality for women in science, still a major challenge. In partnership with the Royal Academy of Science International Trust (RASIT), AWIS was a major advocate for this UN initiative.
Please note that due to United Nations Security and Safety regulations, a limited number of seats will be available.  Therefore, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. We are pleased to provide you with this opportunity as a result of your membership and support of the Association for Women in Science.
