In this presentation, Emily Juricek will discuss:

-The most effective ways to work with agencies/recruiters

- A "behind the scenes" look at how the process works on our end

- Resume writing, including formatting tips, keywords, and how to effectively "sell" your experience by your resume

- How to get your resume in front of the hiring manager

- General interview etiquette tips

- Prepping for challenging questions

- Closing the interview (good questions to ask/how to get next steps/thank you emails)

There will also be the opportunity to network with fellow scientists in NYC!  Pizza and soda will be served.
