St. Paul School Seattle is Seeking Volunteers to Speak to 7th and 8th Graders about STEM Experiences

Date: Now – Dec 15, 2016

The Science Specialist at St. Paul School Seattle is looking for a diverse group of class speakers to speak to 7th and 8th graders about their personal experiences in any STEM field. The Science Specialist is conducting her capstone project for graduate school on how the influence of relatable role models affects attitudes towards science (particularly middle school children). There is a strong need for people of color and minority groups to be represented in this project. The time commitment is 30-60 minutes in the classroom.
