Greetings from AWIS National! Springtime politics are heating up with the 2014 Budget announcements, sequestration impacts are beginning to be felt at the airport, and another push to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act (PFA) is underway.  Every Democratic member of the House of Representatives is a co-sponsor and the Senate is just a few Democrats shy of the same accomplishment.  We will be keeping you posted on these and other topics relevant to our member's interests as we move to an exciting new format next month!

~ Erin Cadwalader, Ph.D., Phoebe S. Leboy Public Policy Fellow 2012-2013
