Q&A: Professor Promotes Science, Technology Studies for Women

Middle Tennessee State University chemistry professor Judith Iriarte-Gross has spent her career encouraging women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

Iriarte-Gross was spotlighted for her efforts when she was awarded the inaugural ATHENA Leadership Award in 2014, and she is a speaker Thursday at the Rutherford ATHENA Award Program. The program will be presented by RutherfordCABLE, a local women's business networking group.
