The soul of any great movement is to be found in its publications. AWIS publications are intended to be a resource for women who are involved in science at any level in academia or industry.
Here we feature the e-newsletter The Washington Wire, which has current news about science policy as it affects women scientists. In addition, the 2005 revision of /A Hand Up: Women Mentoring Women in Science/, the award-winning mentoring guide, can be found here. It includes interviews with and advice from a wide range of women scientists.
Also available online are issues of AWIS Magazine. The most recent four issues are available to anyone, but the 33-year archive of past issues are password-protected and available only to AWIS members.
Another resource are listings of recommended readings -- books we found to be interesting and of note to women in science.
