AWIS selectively joins in partnerships with academic institutions that are committed to providing sustainable, impactful solutions and support for women in STEM.

Option 1

Recognition of your support as partner with a website mention linking to your institution’s website

AWIS Magazine
  • A printed copy of the award-winning AWIS Magazine, published quarterly.
  • Full digital access to the award-winning AWIS Magazine for each AWIS Member part of the Institutional Partnership.
Professional Development Resources

Access to the full range of AWIS’ online resources on topics like leadership development, equitable workplaces, innovation and entrepreneurship, and advocacy.

Digital subscription to the Washington Wire and member-only AWIS Insider e-newsletters, providing news, career advice, research information and funding opportunities.

Up to nine (9) complimentary memberships for administrators, faculty and staff.

A complimentary 2-hour on-site, facilitated, interactive presentation for your institutional stakeholders (administrators, faculty, staff, students) tailored to your institution’s priorities.

Up to nine (9) complimentary memberships for administrators, faculty and staff.

Full-page Magazine Ad

One (1) one-page branded content advertisement in the award-winning AWIS Magazine, published quarterly in print and digital format. AWIS has the right refuse any ad that includes discriminatory or offensive content or conflicts with our mission.

Digital Newsletter Ad Series

Four (4) ads in the Washington Wire or members-only AWIS Insider e-newsletters, published monthly in digital format

What You Need to Know

The option of your choice is an important one – if your institution would like to take advantage of more than one option, please let us know, and we would be able to work with you on a comprehensive package to maximize the benefits derived from a partnership with AWIS.

Partnership Fees

Institutional dues for any one of the options described are calculated based on full-time equivalent enrollment as reported to the US Department of Education’s IPEDS data system.

  • 0 – 10,000 students $4,000
  • 10,001 – 25,000 students $5,000
  • Over 25,000 students $6,000

Partnership Eligibility

AWIS institutional partnership is open to institutions whose main objective is higher education and the development of knowledge. Applying universities and other higher education institutions

  • must be public or private not-for-profit;
  • be degree-conferring institutions; &
  • have undergone, at the national or regional level, a process of quality assurance or accreditation.
